Jays Marvelous Margarita

My friend Jay showed me how to make these a number of years ago. I've never tasted a better one!
Ingredients
- This is a single drink recipe, it's best to make one by one and more fun too! shopping list
- 1 full shot glass of premium tequila (everyone has their own favorite!) shopping list
- 1 full shot glass of Cointreau or Grand Marnier shopping list
- 1 lime shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- ice (use cracked, crushed or cubed) shopping list
- 6 to 8 ounce glass shopping list
- fruit reamer shopping list
- Optional - salt for rim of glass shopping list
How to make it
- Roll the lime to get the juices going. Slice lime in half (If you want a salted rim on your glass, use the lime around the rim and salt it now) use reamer to juice lime into the glass.
- Stir in sugar, use more or less than the teaspoon full to your taste. Make sure it is well mixed.
- Add ice so glass is about half full.
- Add tequila and Cointreau over the ice.
- Stir.
- Add more ice to fill glass.
- Enjoy! and give your car keys to someone else, these will kick your butt.
