Homemade Fresh Tomato Soup Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups skinned, diced tomatoes

½ cup diced celery

½ cup diced onion

2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

4 Tablespoons Butter

4 Tablespoons Flour

4 cups scalded milk

1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Place butter, celery and onions in saucepan.

Sauté until they are desired consistency.

Add tomatoes and brown sugar.

Simmer, covered for about 15 minutes.

Stir in flour.

Add milk and salt.

Heat to boiling.
