Spicy Jamaican Potato Wedges

- 2 medium sweet potatoes shopping list
- 2 medium baking potatoes shopping list
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter shopping list
- 1 tablespoon grated lime zest shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mace (optional) shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- For the Sauce: shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with foil.
- Halve sweet potatoes lengthwise; cut halves into wedges. Peel baking potatoes, halve lengthwise and cut halves into wedges.
- In a large skillet, melt butter; add lime zest, allspice, nutmeg, mace, red pepper flakes and salt. Toss potatoes in butter mixture. Arrange wedges in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake until golden and tender, turning once, about 30 minutes.
- For sauce, in a bowl, combine sour cream and lime juice. Serve potato wedges with sauce on the side.

This was SO GOOD. My husband loves roast potatoes, and I love sweet potatoes, so I think this is going to become a standard recipe in our house.
