How to make it

  • PREPARATION:
  • No real prep work for this recipe. Because you have to work fast, make sure all the ingredients on hand and ready to go.
  • ------------------------------------------
  • Sauté garlic in olive oil, over medium heat until brown, remove, and reserve.
  • Mash reserved garlic by using the back of a fork. Return mashed garlic to olive oil.
  • Cook at high heat for 1 minute.
  • Add dry chili pepper; cook for an additional minute.
  • Add parsley and salt, cook 1 more minute.
  • Add cooked linguine, toss well, arrange on heated serving dish, and sprinkle with black pepper.
  • Serve without cheese please!

    This does look good. I am always afraid to try to "brown" garlic because I am afraid of it developing a bitter taste. This looks like the recipe to practice until I get it right.

    Unfortunately, I won't do the anchovies due to being vegan. Once I am sure I have the recipe down, I may try adding equal parts kelp powder to salt just to see if it adds what I think the anchovies would add.

    Yeah this is a good stand by recipe make it all the time....But i do add Cheese, Parmesan Cheese...The kids around here(and most adults to) love their cheese no way around it...lol

    this is something very similiar tom a dish i make. it's fab. quick and easy and you usually have all these inmgredients on hand. great for unexpected company.
