Ingredients
  • 4 med. Vidalia/sweet onions
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 4 boullion cubes(flavor your choice) we use beef

Directions
  1. 1. Find 4 firm sweet onions. Vidalia's are the best!
  2. 2. Cut each onion and skin off the outside, on the top side core out about a 3 layers of the middle, leaving a little of the bottom still in tack.
  3. 3. Place around 1 TBSP of butter, more or less to suit your taste, margerine if you are going less fat, and 1 bouillion cube in the cored out middle.
  4. 4. Wrap each onion separately in foil and place on the grill! It usually takes about an hour. To test the onion just use your grilling thongs to press on the sides of the onion and if the sides give, you are ready to open up and enjoy. Larger onions may take a little longer and smaller ones of course less time.
  5. 5. This can be also done in the oven, at 350. Place the foiled onions on a cookie sheet just in case the butter leaks through the foil.
  6. Hope you enjoy!
