How to make it

  • combine bell pepper and 12 jalapinos in a food processor
  • finely chopped
  • chopped peppers in a large sauce pan, add cider vinegar
  • bring to boil- turn down let simmer 15-20 minutes-
  • strain thru 2 layers of cheese cloth. discard pulp
  • yields about 1 cup
  • return to sauce pan-stir in salt,sugar until disolved.
  • bring to boil, on med-high a rolling boil for 1 minute
  • then stir in liquid pectin
  • stir in remaining peppers,ladle into sterile jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. seal jars in a hot water bath
  • refrigerate after opening
