jalapino jelly

- 1 large bell pepper shopping list
- 12 jalapinos shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 pinch salt shopping list
- 4 1/4 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 4 oz liquid pectin shopping list
- 4 jalapinos seeded an finely chopped shopping list
How to make it
- combine bell pepper and 12 jalapinos in a food processor
- finely chopped
- chopped peppers in a large sauce pan, add cider vinegar
- bring to boil- turn down let simmer 15-20 minutes-
- strain thru 2 layers of cheese cloth. discard pulp
- yields about 1 cup
- return to sauce pan-stir in salt,sugar until disolved.
- bring to boil, on med-high a rolling boil for 1 minute
- then stir in liquid pectin
- stir in remaining peppers,ladle into sterile jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. seal jars in a hot water bath
- refrigerate after opening
