Graham Cracker Bars

- 3/4c butter shopping list
- 3/4c sugar shopping list
- 1/4c milk shopping list
- 1 egg,lightly beaten shopping list
- 1c chopped pecans,toasted shopping list
- 1c graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 12 graham cracker rectangles shopping list
- 1Tbs. butter,softened shopping list
- 1/2c powdered sugar shopping list
- 2-3tsp. milk shopping list
How to make it
- For filling: In med. saucepan combine 3/4c butter,sugar,milk,and egg. Stirringconstantly,cook over med heat till mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat,stir in pecans and crumbs. Cool 30 mins.
- Meanwhile,place 6 of the graham cracker rectangles,side by side,on foil-lined baking sheet to make rectangle about 10x7" in size . Spoon filling in small mounds onto graham craker rectangles. Carefully spread to an even layer being careful not to move crackers.
- Place remaining cracker rectangles on top to match up with bottom rectangles. Lightly cover bars with plastic wrap. Chill in refrigerator at least 4 hours or till filling is firm. Cut into bars.
- In small bowl,beat 1 Tbs butter with whisk or electric mixer until smooth. Gradually whisk in powdered sugar and enough milk to make a thick drizzling consistency. Drizzle over bars. Let stand till set.
