Like the home-made popsicles mom used to make.... only better! Since it's gelatin and not that popular drink mix we all know and love the pops don't melt NEARLY as fast... and taste way better. Mix and match flavors n fruits to suit your family!

Ingredients
  • 1 small box apricot instant gelatin
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 frozen blackberries
  • popsicle mold or tiny paper cups and toothpicks

Directions
  1. boil water in the microwave - about 4 minutes
  2. drop 1 berry into each mold
  3. pour boiling water on gelatin and mix according to directions (about 2 minutes to dissolve all the gelatin)
  4. DO NOT ADD COLD WATER OR ICE CUBES! (If you do your pops will seperate in the freezer and be half yummy and half watered down)
  5. pour gelatin into your molds (you'll have a lil bit left over - just toss it in the fridge for a single serving treat!)
  6. clip on tops (you'll have to pull them out of the freezer once partially frozen to add toothpicks if you're going this route!)
  7. stow in the freezer for a couple hours til nice and firm
  8. run hot water over the bottoms of the mold to get your pops out

How awesome is this recipe -I will definitely be making this one for the nephews this weekend!! Those other pops just get them all sticky and I really hate sticky!! This recipe sounds like it will fix my phobia and will keep my sweet dear nephews from thinking their auntie is a raving psycho. Thanks for introducing me to this one.

MMMmmmMMM... I made these with pudding instead of gelatin the other day and it was GOOOOOOD! They put those boxed pudding pops to shame... SHAME I say! ;-)

This is a great idea for the grands. They love popsicles, the 2 yr old even asks for them by name!!!

Instead of pulling them out of the freezer half way throuhg to put the toothpick in, you could cover the top of your molds with a sheet of foil and poke them through, this way the foil holds the picks stright and you don't have to worry about remembering to do it!

Perfect! I hopeitgets hot enough here this summer for these to really be shown off in style.

5 from me!

My kids love it when I make popsicles!!! I made these but used mango chunks instead of berries huge hit thanks!!
