Ingredients

How to make it

  • boil water in the microwave - about 4 minutes
  • drop 1 berry into each mold
  • pour boiling water on gelatin and mix according to directions (about 2 minutes to dissolve all the gelatin)
  • DO NOT ADD COLD WATER OR ICE CUBES! (If you do your pops will seperate in the freezer and be half yummy and half watered down)
  • pour gelatin into your molds (you'll have a lil bit left over - just toss it in the fridge for a single serving treat!)
  • clip on tops (you'll have to pull them out of the freezer once partially frozen to add toothpicks if you're going this route!)
  • stow in the freezer for a couple hours til nice and firm
  • run hot water over the bottoms of the mold to get your pops out

Instead of pulling them out of the freezer half way throuhg to put the toothpick in, you could cover the top of your molds with a sheet of foil and poke them through, this way the foil holds the picks stright and you don't have to worry about remembering to do it!

How awesome is this recipe -I will definitely be making this one for the nephews this weekend!! Those other pops just get them all sticky and I really hate sticky!! This recipe sounds like it will fix my phobia and will keep my sweet dear nephews from thinking their auntie is a raving psycho. Thanks for introducing me to this one.
