Honey-glazed Grilled Chicken Or Porkchops Recipe
A marinade for grilled chicken or porkchops. Marinade for 20 minutes or 24 hours.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine or dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons minced green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled and minced
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 2 1/2 to 3 pounds of chicken pieces or 6 pork chops

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss to coat chicken with marinade.
  2. Cover and refrigerate 20 minutes to 24 hours.
  3. Prepare hot coals.
  4. Place dark meat on grill skin side down.
  5. Cook 15 minutes and flip.
  6. Place white meat on grill, skin side down .
  7. Cook 15 minutes to 20 minutes flipping once.
  8. Juices should run clear when the chicken is pricked.

This looks good. I'm saving this one!


I finally got around to making this. I've had it saved since it was posted. I let it marinade a full 24 hours. The skin got really burnt on my grill even though I used indirect heat. I guess the honey did it. I peeled off the skin and the meat was so delicious! Very juicy and it had a hint of sweet from the honey. Really delicious. And, hey, you shouldn't eat that skin anyway, right? :) Very nice recipe. Thanks for the post.
