A simple sweet zesty lima bean.

Ingredients
  • 1 (18 ounce) bag of frozen lima beans
  • 5 slices of bacon
  • 1/3/cup diced red onions
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. Boil the lima beans according to package( about 10-12 minutes)
  2. While beans are cooking fry bacon in a medium frying pan on medium heat until crisp and drain.
  3. Add the red onion and cook additional 5 minutes.
  4. Add lima beans, salt, and stir.
  5. Add a coule Tablespoons water for saucier texture.
  6. Serve
