Marinated Scallops en Brochette

- 1/2 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry white wine shopping list
- 1/4 cup orange juice concentrate shopping list
- 1 tablespoon honey shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 24 sea scallops, rinsed, drained and patted dry shopping list
- 8 ounces bacon strips, each cut into 2 inch pieces shopping list
- 3 to 4 limes, cut into thin slices shopping list
How to make it
- In shallow glass dish, combine melted butter, wine, orange juice concentrate, honey, parsley and seasinings.
- Add scalloips, cover and chill at least one hour.
- Thread scallops, bacon and lime slices alternately onto skewers.
- Place on broiler rack and broil 4 inches from heat source, 3 to 5 minutes per side, basting frequently with marinade. Skewers are done when scallops turn opaque.
