Ingredients

How to make it

  • Grate the paneer or you can mash it. (same if tofu is used).
  • Add 1/2 tsp of soya sauce and sweet tomato sauce and mix it well.
  • Heat oil to smoking point.
  • Add cumin seeds and let is crackle.
  • Reduce flame and add sliced onion, sauté it till it turns brown.
  • Add sugar, stir it and sauté ginger garlic paste .
  • Add tomato, capsicum, chilli , turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fry for 3 min.
  • When it turns soft and pulpy add soaked raisin and crushed cashew nut and mix well.
  • Add grated paneer and stir well so that it gets mixed well with the masala. Cook for 5 mins.
  • Add garam masala and mix it. ( just before switching off the flame)
  • Serve hot , garnishing with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Can be served with Roti, naan, rice and even as filling for bread sandwich.
