How to make it

  • Wash and trim chard then slice stems into 1/2" pieces and roughly chop leaves.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat then sauté garlic in oil several minutes.
  • Remove garlic and discard then add chard stems to skillet.
  • Cover and cook over medium heat until crisp tender about 4 minutes.
  • Add chard leaves then sauté stirring constantly until leaves are wilted about 1 minute.
  • Season to taste with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

    deeeeelish....but I make it a slightly heartier dish, by adding sauted mushroom slices and chopped sauted onion., YUM and DOUBLE YUM! I hope you try this too!
