Ingredients

How to make it

  • Soak beans by package directions and drain
  • Put beans in large pot with chicken stock
  • Bring to a boil
  • In saucepan, heat margarine over medium heat
  • Add garlic, onion and chiles and saute 5 minutes
  • Add chile mixture to beans
  • Add chicken through parsley to bean mixture
  • Lower heat to medium
  • Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 90 minutes
  • ***Great topped with Mexican blend, grated cheese and sour cream

    Oh man....my ex-wife used to make this. I always thought it a bit weird looking with the white beans but the taste was great involving a dollop of sour cream with fresh garden-cut chives on top. Thanks for the recipe, I'll try it soon being winter and all. By the way...Go 'Skins! :)
