Coconut Cream Pie Recipe

How to make it

  • In top of double boiler add milk blended with dry ingredients.
  • Cook until it begins to thicken.
  • Add well beaten egg yolks, coconut and butter.
  • When custard consistency, remove from fire and pour into 9 inch baked pie shell.
  • Top with meringue made from the 3 egg whites and 3 rounded teaspoons sugar, beaten until it peaks.

    I'm actually not a huge fan of coconut but I do like Coconut Creme pie,,,, strange, I know :-)
