How to make it

  • Fry the spices .
  • Add the vegetables and mix well .
  • Add the paste and the tomato . Fry for 1 min .
  • Add the rice and dhal .
  • Mix well and add all the powders along with pinch of salt and tumeric pwd .
  • Transfer to the electric rice cooker .
  • Add 3 rice cups of water .
  • Check the salt again .
  • Switch to COOK position .
  • Serve with some thick sauce or gravy .
