This sloppy joes cooks in a slow cooker and is also great as leftovers. Serve with French fries or whatever you prefer. Recipe is done to taste.

Hey, I think some chopped up green pepper and onion would be great in this, and maybe a minced garlic clove. What do you think?

It would be helpful to have amounts of ingredients to start with then adjust the amounts to taste....

Great idea! My husband loves sloppy joes and this would really make the meat nice and tender. I'm a 'dump cook' myself (I think a lot of us here are), so don't worry about having exact measurements. We're all different, so even if we all made this at our homes and compared, probably none of them would be quite the same! Five-fork rating from me for a great, simple idea and a time-friendly twist on an old favorite. Also added to the CrockPot Capers and CrockPots are Cool Again groups. - Nat
Whoever rated this a one-fork dish: that wasn't nice! :(

1 fork that makes me sad. Who ever you are make sure you make it and try the food before you judge.

I completely agree with Natalie & love the additions she suggested. 5 forks for a nice base recipe

I think this is a very good recipe too, most everyone usually adds the amt of ingredients they want anyway...very good guide, thanks!
