I made this cake for my daughter, she wanted color and chocolate, so I did this cake, she liked it very much.

Ingredients
  • FOR THE CAKE
  • 7 egg yolks
  • 125 grs. sugar
  • 75 grs. flour
  • 40 grs. European cocoa
  • 5 grs. baking powder
  • 1 grs. salt
  • 25 grs. corn syrup
  • 5 grs. vanilla
  • 100 grs. oil
  • 7 egg whites
  • pinch of cream of tartar
  • FILLING
  • 250 grs. whipping cream
  • 200 grs. cream cheese
  • 125 grs. sugar
  • 3 drops cinnamon concentrate
  • vegetal colors one or two drops of each
  • Ganache
  • 1 kg. semi sweet chocolate
  • 300 grs. milk or a little more if you want it lighter.
  • FOR THE CAKE
  • Grease and line paper in a baking sheet.
  • Preheat oven to 325 F.
  • Beat egg yolks and sugar very good.
  • Add dry ingredients.
  • Add corn syrup
  • Beat for 2 minutes
  • Add oil, and continue beating.
  • In another bowl beat egg whites till soft peaks appear and with soft round movements add the egg yolk mixture.
  • Pour into the baking sheet and bake for 16 min,. aprox.
  • FILLING
  • Beat the cream cheese with the sugar and gradually add the whipping cream, divide the mixture in 6 and add a few drops of color to each one.
  • When the cake is done, cut long stripes and cover while preparing the colors.
  • Add some of the colored cream to each stripe.
  • Roll each stripe, and cut it in two.
  • Place the rolls on a plate, add chocolate ganache.
  • Add one more layer or rolls.
  • Add chocolate ganache and decorate.
  • I added lines of milk chocolate ganache and some “M” decorations
  • Made with milk chocolate .
  • I added some silver powder (for fondant decoration) with a brush and finally add them to the cake and place the candles.

I don't know where to start describing this cake! Okay - first OMG Chocolate and Cinnamon - what can be better than that! And, Hello! Whipping Cream! Just for this you deserve 10000000 points!
Then, listen to this!, you decided to color the cream - how much fun for your daughter to find these beautiful colors when you cut the slices!
And this is not all, folks! You also made little roulade and ensembled them together to create a masterpiece.
On top of it you pour CHOCOLATE GANACHE!
How can this get better! Normal people like me would say - it can't. But, no, you had to go the extra step and add chocolate DECORATIONS!
