How to make it

  • Beat eggs, very little, add sugar and butter.
  • Then add cream, flavoring, and flour.
  • Put a dollop on hot iron. Cook until light brown, then roll.
  • If using an electric iron, use a heaping teaspoon, place dough slightly behind center, and latch griddle. Cook for about 1 minute, then roll.

    Hey susan, does it matter if they are rolled? Can't they be left flat? I don't have a roller, although could probably improvise something.

    Like a any good Norwegain girl I love this cookie. Its hard to make but so worth it. My aunt likes to twist the recipe a little. She does this by using almond, hazelnut, or another kind of flavoring. Almond and vanilla are my favorites.
