Krumkakke Recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar

1/2 c. softened butter (almost melted)

3 eggs

1/2 c. heavy cream

1 3/4 c. flour (a little less)

1 tsp. vanilla (optional)

Directions

Beat eggs, very little, add sugar and butter.

Then add cream, flavoring, and flour.

Put a dollop on hot iron. Cook until light brown, then roll.

If using an electric iron, use a heaping teaspoon, place dough slightly behind center, and latch griddle. Cook for about 1 minute, then roll.

Like a any good Norwegain girl I love this cookie. Its hard to make but so worth it. My aunt likes to twist the recipe a little. She does this by using almond, hazelnut, or another kind of flavoring. Almond and vanilla are my favorites.
