Like a any good Norwegain girl I love this cookie. Its hard to make but so worth it. My aunt likes to twist the recipe a little. She does this by using almond, hazelnut, or another kind of flavoring. Almond and vanilla are my favorites.

High five - Norwegian recipes are great. My great great grandparents came over from Norway. So I love seeing recipes I recognize from grandma's recipe box. Thanks!
