How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar
  • Add egg and beat well
  • Add dry ingredients and mix until incorporated
  • Stir in pecans
  • Roll dough into a 2 to 3 inch log depending on how large you like your cookies
  • Wrap in plastic wrap or wax paper
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Slice cookies
  • Bake for 12 minutes (don't over cook)
  • Remove to cooling rack
  • Store in airtight container

    Thanks for your comment. They are so simple and the dough keeps in fridge really well, so you can bake a few at a time and have fresh cookies whenever you like.
