How to make it

  • clean chicken and discard innards leaving chicken in tact
  • mount chicken on stand up wire base
  • fire up grill on medium heat
  • cut top of beercan and stick the can up the rear of chicken (place under chicken within standing base)
  • sprinkle on above ingredients (except for the balsamic vinnegrette and ginger this is for the reduction sauce)
  • while chicken is on the grill in a separate saucepan pour at least 12 oz. of balsamic vinnegrette in pan and saute on high and add ginger
  • reduction should take 40 min or until thick like molasses but not to thick be careful not to burn sauce so keep stirring occasionally and reduce heat towards the end
  • this is a very versitile main dish and can be served with side of your choice
  • when chicken is done an hour later use balsamic reduction sauce for dipping or it can be drizzled over chicken when plated
