Really tasty and I did use them as a snack. In fact, they got cold and they were delicious! Nice and sticky and kinda sweet. Like a candy potato. I stirred these three times - every 10 minutes - and let them cook for the final five. They certainly turn out pretty. I was worried about the sticky pan but a 15 minute soak in hot soapy water cleaned it up just fine. Added to IMI on 10/25/15.

These sound like a super snack as well as a different companion for burgers. Thanks for posting! I think I'm going to give these a try this afternoon.
