How to make it

  • Bring med pot of water to a boil
  • Peel and slice Ginger root
  • Add sliced Ginger root to boiling water
  • Simmer and cover for 20 min
  • Strain water and discard Ginger root
  • Poor Ginger root water into mugs
  • Makes a healthy tea that relieves cold and flu
  • You can add lemon or honey to taste

    I keep this in the refrigerator. We find it strong, so we mix more water, the ginger tea and lemon into a large water bottle. Great for colds and for stomach troubles.
