  • Bake at 375 until it leaves sides of 2 layer pans.
  • Ice with favorite icing.

    I have heard of mayonnaise cake but never tried it, can't wait for the weekend to give it a go, has to be weekend as no mayo in da house and not enough eggs either! grrrrrrr

    This sounds like what my mom made years ago....and she frosted it with a cream cheese frosting. Us kids couldn't wait for the cake to be cut......it was soooo smooth and moist!

    I make this one quite often, and it's the BEST cake you'll ever make. The most moist as well. Top it off with some chocolate/peanut butter frosting, and I'm in heaven!! Thanks for sharing!
