This mayonnaise cake has chocolate in it.

Ingredients
- Mix:
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. water
- Sift in :
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsps. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 5 heaping tsps. cocoa
Directions
- Beat for 3 minutes.
- Bake at 375 until it leaves sides of 2 layer pans.
- Ice with favorite icing.

I make this one quite often, and it's the BEST cake you'll ever make. The most moist as well. Top it off with some chocolate/peanut butter frosting, and I'm in heaven!! Thanks for sharing!

This sounds like what my mom made years ago....and she frosted it with a cream cheese frosting. Us kids couldn't wait for the cake to be cut......it was soooo smooth and moist!
