Poppy Strawberry Salad

This salad is an amazing and wonderful salad. It was first brought to my attention by my to-be sis in law, Sara.
Ingredients
- For the greens: shopping list
- 1 bunch of spinach, washed shopping list
- 1 bunch of romaine hearts, washed shopping list
- 1 package of strawberries, washed and sliced shopping list
- 1 small red onion, very thinly sliced, save about 1/8 of it and chop finer to add to vinaigrette later. shopping list
- For the vinaigrette: shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 Tbsp raspberry vinegar or raspberry dressing shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. poppy seeds shopping list
- (Add smaller cut onions from above) shopping list
- Feel free to add toasted walnuts or pecans, and a few smidges of goat cheese if you like. shopping list
How to make it
- Toss all greens into a bowl with onions
- Whisk together the vinaigrette ingredients
- Pour dressing in a little at a time, you just want enough to coat the leaves
- Enjoy
