Poppy Strawberry Salad Recipe

Ingredients

For the greens:

1 bunch of spinach, washed

1 bunch of romaine hearts, washed

1 package of strawberries, washed and sliced

1 small red onion, very thinly sliced, save about 1/8 of it and chop finer to add to vinaigrette later.

For the vinaigrette:

1/3 cup sugar

3/4 cup mayonnaise

2 Tbsp raspberry vinegar or raspberry dressing

2 Tbsp. poppy seeds

(Add smaller cut onions from above)

Feel free to add toasted walnuts or pecans, and a few smidges of goat cheese if you like.

Directions

Toss all greens into a bowl with onions

Whisk together the vinaigrette ingredients

Pour dressing in a little at a time, you just want enough to coat the leaves

I have been looking for this very recipe for awhile and here it is!! I just love it!! I had the toasted sugared pecans in mine and it was great! thank you for posting it plus the picture just set it off and made it clear enough for me to see it was the same recipe!
