Loris Killer Kebabs With Jack Daniels Grilling Sauce

- marinade shopping list
- 1/8c worcestershire shopping list
- 1 t balsalmic vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 t liquid smoke shopping list
- 3 T butter, melted shopping list
- 1/8 - 1/4 c evoo shopping list
- 2 oz Jack Daniels shopping list
- juice and zest from 1/2 a lemon shopping list
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced shopping list
- 1-2 t minced onion (fresh onion) shopping list
- 1 t monterey steak seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 t dried mustard shopping list
- fresh ground pepper shopping list
- parsley shopping list
- KEBABS shopping list
- 2 thick sirloin steaks, cut into large chunks shopping list
- pearl onions shopping list
- grape tomatoes shopping list
- Large white mushrooms shopping list
- 2 red peppers, cut into large chunks shopping list
How to make it
- MARINADE
- Simmer all ingredients together about 10-20 minutes (just coking off the strong alcohol taste)
- Allow to cool
- Pour half over meat in ziploc bag, reserve other half
- Marinate 3 hours to overnight in fridge, turning ocasionally
- Keep reserved marinade til ready to grill
- Take meat out of fridge 30 minutes before grilling, discard used marinade
- KEBABS
- If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes
- Thread with meat and veggies
- Place in glass oblong dish, and brush with reserved marinade
- Grill over low heat about 8 minutes on and turn halfway over, brush with resrved marinade, and grill 8 minutes more
- ***Since originally coming up with this recipe, I often use the marinade for whole steaks and just put the veggies on a kabob***
