Fruit Cocktail Bread

- 3 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 (8 oz.) lemon yogurt shopping list
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel shopping list
- 1 (15 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
- Combine flour, sugar, and baking soda
- Blend eggs with yogurt, oil, and lemon peel. Add dry ingredients and the fruit and nuts, stir to just blend. Spoon into pan.
- Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until pick inserted in center of the loaf comes out clean. Let stand in pan for 10
- minutes. Then cool completely on a wire rack.
