Ingredients

How to make it

  • Prepare the pancake mixture by putting all ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Let it set while you brown the ground meat mixture.
  • Prepare the ground beef by browning it in a skillet with the onions and peppers. Drain any excess grease and season with your choice of spices. Place cooked mixture in 10x6 pan and add the cheddar cheese. Pour the pancake batter you prepared first on top of this mixture and put in a pre-heated 350 F. oven for approx. 30 minutes or until lightly brown.

Nov 24/16 This is a very good recipe. I used a mixture of ground beef and pork and it worked great. The only issue I have is with the pancake batter. I found that the batter was very thick so I think that the liquid needs to be increased. I also feel that there is to much baking powder as the topping fluffed up so much that there seems to be more topping as compared to the rest of the dish. Yes I will be making again but next time I will cut the full pancake batter in 1/2 also cut the baking powder back some more and add a little more milk.

Yum sounds like a nice savory breakfast. I bet this would be good with a blend of beef and sausage, too. Thanks for posting :)
