Ingredients
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 jar (15 oz.) spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. leaf oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 1/2 c. cottate cheese
- 2 c. (8oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- Drain.
- In a large skillet, brown beef and onions.
- Drain.
- Stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic salt, oregano and basil.
- In a 2 quart buttered rectangluar bakng dish, layer 1/3 of noodles, 1/3 of the sauce and 1/3 of cottage cheese, Mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Repeat twice.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
- Serves 6 to 8.

- I do not cook the noodles--instead I pour 1 cup of hot water around the edges and cover with foil. Less mess and a lot faster to make. I also add sour cream to the cottage cheese. YUM! Love all lasagna! thanks
