Ingredients
  • 2- cups sugar
  • 2/3- cup light cream
  • 1- tablespoon butter
  • 1- teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2- - cup seedless raisins

Directions
  1. Get out a saucepan!!!!!!!!
  2. Put the sugar and cream in it ………
  3. Cook slowly, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Stop stirring!!!; .....but continue cooking until a soft ball is formed ( when a little bit of the syrup is dropped in cold water about ....238 degrees f. forms a soft ball)
  5. Remove from heat now add your butter…..
  6. When the whole thing has cooled, then add the vanilla, and beat until creamy…
  7. Stir in the raisins at the last…..
  8. Pour mixture into a slightly buttered pan 8x8 .cool
  9. When it becomes firm you can now cut it into squares and serve
  10. yumm
