1928 Raisin Cream Fudge

- 2- cups sugar shopping list
- 2/3- cup light cream shopping list
- 1- tablespoon butter shopping list
- 1- teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2- - cup seedless raisins shopping list
How to make it
- Get out a saucepan!!!!!!!!
- Put the sugar and cream in it ………
- Cook slowly, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Stop stirring!!!; .....but continue cooking until a soft ball is formed ( when a little bit of the syrup is dropped in cold water about ....238 degrees f. forms a soft ball)
- Remove from heat now add your butter…..
- When the whole thing has cooled, then add the vanilla, and beat until creamy…
- Stir in the raisins at the last…..
- Pour mixture into a slightly buttered pan 8x8 .cool
- When it becomes firm you can now cut it into squares and serve
- yumm
