This recipe was created to compensate for my two girls one is a white chocolate gal and mini-me is a chocolate girl. a great mixture ! also great as Ice cream sandwiches just add vanilla icecream in between 2 of these babies! Read more !! Yummmm See less

- 1/2 cup butter soft
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup brown suger
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (I also have used peanut butter chips)
- 2 cups of quick oats
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter soft shopping list
1/2 cup shortening shopping list
2 eggs shopping list
1 1/3 cups of flour shopping list
1/2 cup brown suger shopping list
1 cup chocolate chips shopping list
1 cup white chocolate chips (I also have used peanut butter chips) shopping list
2 cups of quick oats shopping list
1 cup of sugar shopping list
1tsp salt shopping list
2 tsp vanilla shopping list
1 tsp baking soda shopping list

How to make it

Cream together butter,shortening and sugars
add eggs and vanilla
stir together dry ingredients and add
stir in chips
drop by teaspoons on ungreased baking pan -bigger if you want to make ice cream sandwiches with them
bake on 375 for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned

These cookies were great!! I made a few changes (doesn't everyone?!?!) I added crisp rice cereal for half of the oats, and used cinnamon chips instead of the Choco ones. :) Took these cookies from the recipe swap (refugees), and I plan on making them again! Thanks!!!
