Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a medium size sauté pan, over high heat, add olive oil and garlic.
  • When the garlic just starts to brown add seasoned scallops and sear quickly.
  • Remove scallops and let rest on towel.
  • Pull pan away from heat then add tequila lime and parsley.
  • Cook liquid until it reduces by half then remove from heat and stir in butter.
  • Season sauce with salt and pepper and spoon.

    I have never used this website for recipes and I must admit that I am skeptical. There are only 3 reviews and all 3 give 5 stars. Yet, the very first step instructs, "In a medium size sauté pan, over high heat, add olive oil and garlic." Uhhh, well, cooking 101 teaches us that olive oil is to NEVER be used on high heat as it will burn. The hilarity continues with, "Remove scallops and let rest on towel." This, after giving ZERO indicator of how long the scallops are to sear and how they are to be seasoned. Then they are to "rest on towel"??!! I can't say that I've ever rested ANY cooked item on a "towel". I am guessing that this website is not the most reputable source for good recipes.
