How to make it

  • COMBINE BROWN SUGAR , BUTTER AND WATER IN SAUCEPAN.
  • COOK OVER LOW HEAT UNTIL BUTTER MELTS, STIRRING TO MIX WELL…..
  • STIR IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS UNTIL MELTED.
  • POUR INTO A LARGE MIXER BOWL;
  • LET STAND FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL COOL
  • BEAT IN EGG
  • STIR IN MIXTURE OF FLOUR AND SODA.
  • CHILL COVERED FOR 1-2 HOURS OR UNTIL EASY TO HANDLE
  • SHAPE INTO 1 INCH BALLS
  • PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET
  • BAKE AT 350 DEGREES F. FOR 7 MINUTES
  • PLACE 1 MINT ON EACH COOKIE
  • BAKE FOR 2 MINUTES LONGER
  • SWIRL MELTED MINTS TO FROST THE COOKIES
  • REMOVE TO A WIRE RACK TO COOL……..
  • YIELDS 4 DOZEN
