A very simple quick appetizer but very tasty also ..........enjoy ............. courtesy happy holidays
Ingredients
- 8 - ounces ground beef shopping list
- 8 - ounces sausage (.i use hot sausage) shopping list
- 8- ounces velvetta cheese shopping list
- 1/2 - teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1/2- teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1- 2 loafs of the party style rye bread shopping list
- caraway seeds (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Brown ground beef and sausage in a skillet, stirring until crumbly and brown.............drain
- add cheese stir until melted
- stir in oregano and garlic powder
- cool for several minutes
- spread mixture on the bread slices put on cookie sheet or broiler pan
- broil until cheese is melted and bubbly
- place on serving platter serve hot
- yields 2- 3 dozen appetizers .............
