Ingredients
  • 1/4- cup butter softened
  • 1- cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2- cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 3- cups rice crispy cereal
  • 1- cup finely chopped peanuts
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels
  • 1- tablespoon shortening

Directions
  1. cream butter and peanut butter in mixer bowl until light
  2. add powdered sugar gradually, beating until fluffy
  3. stir in cereal
  4. shape by level tablespoons into logs
  5. roll in peanuts
  6. place on wax paper........
  7. melt chocolate chips in doubl broiler over hot water stirring constantly
  8. drizzle chocolate over logs.........
  9. chill until serving
  10. makes 2 1/2 dozen logs

These are similar to something I make. But I like this better because of the rolling in peanuts and drizzling the chocolate. My recipe calls for dipping in chocolate and I always make such a mess. I'll be making these for sure. High 5 from me!

I must have the same recipe as michelle as mine are always a mess, love the taste but not so much the mess. This one sounds decadent and I also lik the sound of rolling them in nuts. Great post and a high 5.
