How to make it

  • Cook 4 slices bacon till crisp; drain; reserving 2 tablespoons drippings.
  • Crumble bacon.
  • Cook 1/2 cup chopped onion in drippings till tender; add with bacon to two 1-pound cans pork and beans in tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon prepared mustard; mix well.
  • Bake uncovered in 1 1/2-quart casserole at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
  • Serves 6.

    These were good and easy! I used Bush's beans as I had a can on hand. My father is a very picky eater, but he loves beans and he loved these. I had to leave the leftovers for him. :) Thanks so much!

    You have almost the same recipe as me
    its the worcestershire sauce that makes the great taste. and they have to be cooked till it starts to brown on the edges good recipe!!
