Way Down South Jalapeno Burgers

WAY DOWN SOUTH JALAPENO BURGERS. Another one of my favorites. I obtained this recipe at a burger cook-off I attended in 1990. This is not my recipe, but it took first place in the burger category and the chef was kind enough to slip me the recipe. Read more It is now a favorite at my household. Ingredients
- 3 pounds lean ground beef shopping list
- 4 sliced pickled jalapeño peppers shopping list
- 1/2 package dried onion soup mix shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon seasoned salt shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon steak seasoning shopping list
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 6 slices of your favorite cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Add all seasonings (including jalapenos) to ground beef in a bowl and combine well.
- Form into 6 patties.
- Broil or grill until desired level of doneness is achieved.
- Place cheese on burgers when done.
