How to make it

  • In large mixing bowl combine berries and pour mixture into prepared pastry shell.
  • In medium saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch.
  • Gradually stir in water until smooth mixture is formed stirring constantly.
  • Cook mixture over medium high heat until it comes to a boil.
  • Boil one minute and remove from heat then stir in gelatin until dissolved.
  • Let mixture cool to room temperature and pour it over the berries in pastry shell.
  • Refrigerate 3 hours then whip fresh cream just before serving and spread over entire pie.
