Ingredients
  • 4-shataki dried mushrooms(soak and reconstitute)
  • 3/4 pnd. lean ground pork
  • 1 medium onion(diced finely)
  • 3-cloves garlic( minced)
  • 1/2 pound shrimp(cleaned(chopped finely or food processed)
  • 1/3 cup of chopped water chestnuts
  • 1-tblspn soy sauce
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • canola oil to fry in
  • 1-pkg lumpia wrappers or won ton

Directions
  1. Soak mushrooms disguard stems
  2. in wok fry pork,onions,garlic cook 6 minutes on medium high heat
  3. than add shrimp,mushrooms and chestnuts cook on medium,cook 2 more minutes.pour in soy sauce and let cool
  4. lay 1 wrapper out put about 3-4 tspns mixture,seal with egg wash on edges and roll,repeat til all are done
  5. fry in wok til light golden brown ,drain on paper towel or keep on rack in warm over til ready to eat
  6. serve with thai sauce

I made both versions of lumpia that have been recently posted. I loved both of them. Yours has water chesnuts and I really liked the crunch. So did my family. THX for sharing this recipe.
