Ingredients

How to make it

  • Butter a 3-quart baking dish.
  • Preheat oven to 325 F.
  • Place half the bread cubes into the buttered casserole dish.
  • Top with cream cheese.
  • Add the rest of the bread cubes.
  • Combine the eggs, milk, butter and syrup in the food processor.
  • Pulse to blend well.
  • Pour egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes.
  • Lightly press with a spatula to moisten all cubes.
  • Cover with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Let stand 10 minutes prior to serving.
