How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325
  • Roll out pie crust and place in a 9 inch deep dish pie plate
  • Add all ingredients of filling into mixer and mix well.
  • In seperate bowl mix all ingredients for the topping
  • Place pie plate on drip tray as filling may drip over.
  • Spoon the filling into the pie crust and smooth out.
  • Pour topping over the top.
  • Bake in oven for hour and half or until crust is golden and filling is set.
  • Serve at room temp with fresh whipped cream.

    Dang, this sounds good! You're making my list dessert menu very difficult to choose, jmatt! I'm in charge of desserts this year and thought I already had it all picked out which ones to make. But I keep seeing new ones that sound good. This sounds really awesome!
