How to make it

  • Ground beef, drain
  • Either in a stove top pot or slow-cooker, put all ingredients
  • Add a cup of water if desired, depending on how thick you would like it.
  • If on stovetop, I leave it on there for most of the day on low
  • If in a slow cooker, leave it on low for 6-10 hours

This is a very easy and yummy recipe! I will never buy spagetti sauce in a jar again this tastes so so much better...and CHEAPER too! I have so much leftover for my family of 5, plenty to freeze so definately a budget meal. I used a bit more garlic (we love garlic!) and omitted the green pepper because I didn't have any and I threw in a can of diced tomatoes. . Yum-0

This looks like it might be the same type of spaghetti sauce my dad use to make when it was his turn to cook. I'm looking forward to trying this. Thanks for posting.
