Cherries And Cheese In Puff Pastry

- 1/2 of a 17.3 ounce package Pastry Sheets (One Sheet) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 TBL water shopping list
- 1/3 C dried cherries softened for one minute in hot water and drained shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1/2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary shopping list
- One (13.2 ounce) brie cheese round or two 7 ounce rounds shopping list
- Some leave the cheese covering on, I remove it. shopping list
How to make it
- Thaw pastry sheet at room temperature 40 minutes until easy to handle
- Heat oven to 400
- Beat egg & water in small bowl
- Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Roll sheet into 14 inch square
- Stir cherries, pecans, honey & rosemary in a small bowl
- Spread cherry mixture onto center of square
- Top with cheese round
- Brush edges of pastry with egg mixture
- Fold opposite sides of pastry over cheese
- Brush with egg mixture, press edges to seal
- Place seam side down on baking sheet, brush with egg mixture
- Bake 20 - 25 minutes until deep golden brown
- Let stand for 45 minutes
