Garlic Fried Rice

- 4 cups cooked rice - preferably cold or left over shopping list
- 2 tbsp cloves garlic - minced shopping list
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional) shopping list
- 1 1/2 kosher salt shopping list
- black pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat
- Add garlic. Cook until golden brown but not burn
- Add frozen vegetables if using. Cook for 3 minutes or until vegetables are no longer frozen
- Add rice, salt and black pepper and mix well. Cook for about 5 minutes mixing occasionally to prevent burning.
- Serve hot.
