Texas Cake

My mother made this for me as my wedding cake! It's one of my favorites. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
Ingredients
- Cake: shopping list
- 2 C flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 C granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 t baking soda shopping list
- 1 can crushed pineapple (19 oz) shopping list
- Icing: shopping list
- I C coconut shopping list
- 1 C brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 C melted butter shopping list
- 6 T carnation milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325F
- Mixed first four ingredients until well blended
- Then add the pineapple, mix well
- Pour cake batter into a 9"x13" baking pan between 40 and 45 minutes
- For icing, mix all ingredients but the coconut in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil for about 5 minutes
- Let stand and cool
- Add coconut, stir well
- Lay on the cake
- Enjoy!
