Ed found this one. It makes a lot of meatballs but, of course, they can be frozen.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds hot sausage meat
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 4 whole onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 6 to 9 New Mexico green chiles, seeded and chopped

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. Form mixture into 1 1/2" diameter balls.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes OR until thoroughly cooked.
  5. Serve over pasta or rice OR use uncooked mixture to stuff bell peppers.
