Ingredients

- 2 oz tequila

- 4 oz orange juice

- 1 oz grenadine

Garnish: lime or orange wedge (optional)

Directions

Pour tequila in a highball glass with ice, and top with orange juice. Stir.

Add the grenadine, which will sink to the bottom and then rise up slowly through the drink

. Garnish with a citrus wedge and serve with straw.

Once upon a time, I used to love these. I loved them too much one night and it tainted my feelings for them - and we broke up. I still haven't made up with grenadine, although tequila and I are quite close. Orange juice was an innocent bystander, so no bad feelings for OJ. Heh.
