This is a great bread to make when you are having Rueben Sandwiches.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pound Loaf
  • 1 1/8 cups water
  • 2 T. cider vinegar
  • 2 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 1 tsp.salt
  • 2 T. butter
  • 2 T. dark corn syrup
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 3 T. cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. instant coffee
  • 1/4 tsp. fennel seeds
  • 1 T. caraway seeds
  • 2 tsp. yeast

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients into bread machine according to your machines directions.
  2. Allow to cool on wire rack for 1 hour before slicing.
