Easy Tomato Chickpea Soup

- 1 can chick peas drained shopping list
- 1 28 oz can tomatoes (with juice) shopping list
- 1 bottle roasted red peppers, drained shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 tsp oregano shopping list
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onion and garlic in hot oil for 3 minutes
- Purree all other ingredients in food processor or blender
- Heat over low heat in a pot
- Serve with fresh basil and sour cream, if desired.
