The apple flavor is simply wonderful. For an extra-special touch,drizzle rolls with a confectioners" sugar glaze. From Taste of Home

Ingredients
- 1/3c water
- 1/3c butter
- 11/3c sugar,divided
- 2 tubes(8oz ea.)refrigerated crescent rolls
- 3c finely chopped ,peeled tart apples
- 1tsp apple pie spice
Directions
- In a saucepan,combine water,butter, and 1c sugar;cook over med heat until butter is melted and sugar dissolved. Set aside
- Unroll crescent dough into 1 long rectangle;seal seams and perforations.Combine the apples,apple pie spice and remaining sugar;sprinkle over dough to within 1" od edges. Roll up,jelly roll style,starting with long side. Cut into 1" rolls;place on greased 15x10x1" baking pan.
- Pour reserved syrup over rolls. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 mins or till golden brown.
- You may want to refrigerare before slicing into rolls to give more firmness.

The crescent roll dough is now sold in sheets!! It is still in the tube, it just unrolls into one big sheet, no triangles!
I discovered this at the store when buying them and it eliminates having to press those seams together :)
